“Minto is special to me because memories and experiences that I get to share with those most important to me. Recently I shot a moose with my grandpa and cousin…Hunting is our traditional practice. It feels good to be able to provide for my family. This same feeling is shared by many in the community.”  - Andrew

“I like Minto because I grew up my whole life in the village. One reason I like Minto is because it’s fun to play outside, and hang out with friends. And it is really fun going out hunting with friends and family. In the summer a lot of people go fishing for dogs or for fun. This is why I think Minto is super special for everyone here.” -Dustin

“Minto is special. I like living in Minto especially around Halloween. Everyone dresses up and we get free candy. I also like the scenery and the sunrises and sunsets look amazing! There are many reasons that Minto is special, but Halloween and the scenery are my favorite.”  - Adrianna

“I like living in Minto… When I go out in the boat I see ducks, birds, beavers, and sometimes moose. It’s pretty when you go out there- it’s like once you go out there you want to stay and not come back for a while.
