WHERE WE ARE

“Our family has a homestead 32 miles down the Yukon river. We love to visit Eagle and see our friends and family.” — Vieve & Grace

We live in Eagle Alaska.

Eagle is on the Yukon River near the Canadian border and the Ogilive Mountians.

Eagle was established in 1901. There was an army fort here called Ft. Egbert and they were here because of gold.

When Roald Amundsen found the northwest passage in 1905 he mushed a dog team from the Beaufort Sea to Eagle to send a telegraph to tell the world he found the Northwest Passage.
