Alaska Gateway School District (AGSD), with their partner, Yukon-Koyukuk School District (YKSD), is kicking off the 2017-18 School Year with exciting new courses being offered to their middle school and high school students.

In addition to classroom-based work, students taking any of these courses will enjoy "field experiences" at local dog kennels where dog mushers are participating in the A-CHILL project.

High schoolers can earn both high school and college credit for the Alaska Veterinary Technology and the Veterinary Science 100 courses.

Check out the complete Course Catalog with class descriptions and get your local area students ready to sign-up when school starts!

Make sure to also check out our Photo Gallery to see all of the cool stuff students and their schools and communities have been doing since last winter - during school hours, after-school, and over the summer.
